We are delighted to have been selected by DT Gen for the commercial flue works at The RAF in Cranwell.
The Royal Airforce in Cranwell is a training and education academy which provides initial training to all RAF personnel who are preparing to be commissioned officers. The college was established as one of the world's first air academy in the year 1919.
Flue HQ have been appointed for the design, supply and installation of the generator flue system which will be serving 1.No DT Gen Generator. The product we have selected for this application is our AD Twin Wall Insulated Flue Pipe. The AD range is ideal for any/all generator flue applications and gives a positive pressure resistance of up to 5000Pa and a continuous high temperature capability of up to 600° at 5000 pascals independently tested to BS476: Part 24 for 4 Hours.
The System will be traveling 1.2m vertically to the stack which then travels 2m horizontally, leading to a 90 degree bend and terminating with a horizontal terminal c/w with mesh.
